Dr. Merita Hinds Inspiration for Health

Dr. Merita Jackson Hinds has enjoyed a distinguished career as a Global Health Care Provider and Physician for over 35 years helping patients suffering from an extraordinary range of challenges with an unparalleled record of success.

She is a clinically trained Doctor of Traditional Asian Medicines utilizing her skills from Korea, Japan and Hong Kong with extensive experience and training in Motor Disorders, Soft Tissue Trauma, Internal Disease, Oncology, Herbal Formulations and Nutrition. Her two years of Internship with Dr. Hok Tse from Macau Hospital in Internal Medicine with an additional two years of advanced training with Dr. Arthur Kaslow in Santa Barbara, California in Orthomolecular and Integrative Medicine has equipped her with a deep understanding of complex medical conditions utilizing both Eastern and Western protocols for challenges such as:‍

• Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS)

• Parkinson's Disease

• Motor Neuron Disease

• Heart Disease

• Endocrine Disorders

• Thyroiditis

• Tropical Disease such as Rat Lung and Hansen’s Disease‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍In 2008, Dr. Hinds extended her practice from Hawaii and continued her work as a traveling physician to provide outreach in Samoa where she studied the effects of Hansen’s Disease. .
  In 2019, Dr. Hinds returned to the United States to continue her work in Motor Disorders focusing on Lou Gehrig’s Disease as well as traveling to Central Mexico to continue outreach care with patients.
  An active advocate for women and children of domestic violence, Dr. Hinds in 1996 opened The Bradley Island School for under privileged children as well as establishing, Inspiration for Health.
  Aside from her medical licenses, Dr. Hinds is also a Certified Medical Macrobiotic Chef and Counselor from the Lima Culinary School in Japan and has published, Inspiration for Health, My Family's Macrobiotic Recipes and currently available in English and Spanish.
  In 2024, after returning from her 2nd‍ ‍Portuguese Study Abroad Program and walking over 900 km while treating individuals throughout Portugal and Spain, Dr. Hinds returned to the United States as Graduate Adjunct Professor at the Colorado Chinese Medicine University and is currently reviewing private patients and consultations.
